Visitors
to the Great Smoky Mountains will find "The Appalachian" to be more than they
expected when renting a cabin in Townsend. Located
on a quiet mountain road, this cabin has a wonderful
mountain feel to it yet offers all the comforts of
home and more. Furnished with beautiful quilts and decorated with the area in
mind, the Appalachian is a special place in which to enjoy vacation time with
family and friends.
With two bedrooms and a loft bedroom (three queen beds total), it sleeps six people. The master bedroom and bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower are located on the main level. The second bedroom, loft and a second full bathroom are on the upper level.
The main level also consists of the kitchen, dining alcove, living area w/stacked stone wood burning fireplace, covered front porch and screened back porch. A hot tub is located off the screened porch and is wonderful for relaxing and enjoying the Smoky Mountain evenings. Guests also enjoy free swimming privileges at Laurel Valley. A full size washer and dryer is available for our guests’ use.
The Appalachian is fully furnished to make your stay enjoyable. Sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and firewood (in season) are provided, as well as wireless internet access. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you would need for preparing and serving a full meal. A charcoal grill is also provided.
Cleanliness is a priority with us so you’ll always find the cabin extremely clean upon arrival. Non-smoking, no pets please!!
